Happy New Year everyone!

Throughout January & February at the Travellers Rest, we are offering 2 courses for just £6 (main menu still available). If you don't fancy two courses then we are also doing main meals for less than £5 - beating any "2 for £10" offer you might find locally! All home made & REAL chips!

This offer is available Monday - Thursdy, lunch (12-2) and evenings (6-8.30)

Don't forget Friday is "Fishday Friday" when you can have freshly beer battered cod, homemade real chips and peas (mushy or garden) for only £5!

My family and I visited the Travellers for food last night, and I have to say we we were thoroughly delighted with quality of food and service, it is very difficult to find a nice village pub with good home cooked food nowadays but the Travellers is absolutely that. We ate from the '2 courses for £6' menu, the options were varied and the portions good (home made chips also!) We will definitely be going back and would recommend.

i'll be taking advantage of the New Year Madness... had a wicked meal at Travellers Rest duing their Christmas Fayre promotion. We went in a party of 15+ and all the food came out together, piping hot and was fab, service brill and staff really friendly. Will definately go again and really recommend you try it. Only 1 criticism..... had a stinking hangover the next day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just been up to the Travellers for Sunday lunch and would thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely, fresh home-cooked food, and a friendly, clean environment.

It was very quiet when we went in, which is a shame, so can't really comment on the atmosphere.

Hopefully word will get round and it will get busier, we will certainly be going again.............soon I hope!
