Get fit with Badminton

One for the local sports fans. Ice hockey, football, cricket, rugby, bowls. Local comment on national sport or local sports issues are all welcome. Find out what options there are for participating in local sport. Anyone for welly throwing?

I don't like jazz either, my husband likes the really old fashioned stuff from when it was first invented.

Jazz hands. Bit like these

We'va had another new gent start whos a little inexperineced. The problem we have is experienced players get a little competitive but new players need the experience.
The quieter summer months are the time to come for a little friendly direction - with holidays etc numbers do drop a little.

EIS - Institute of Sport and Graves PArk usually do coaching sessions. I'd recommend ringing either of them.

New "constitution", new committee and off to a new start hopefully.
Back to back wins in the current leagues so far.
New members/visitors always welcome - feel free to come along for half an hour at the start(8pm) just to smack a shutle .

Its that time to get in shape again. We are still accepting new players and members, even if you are a bit rusty.
There is also a likelihood of getting a coach for a few weeks if there is sufficient interest from newbies.
