no, i didn't realise they were smashing up the bus shelter at the time, just heard them screaming and swearing at 1.45 am i was thinking of ringing the police, but felt i shouldn't really be bothering the very busy police with a phone call saying there are some youths having fun on the bridge at killamarsh, its a shame we don't have the 101 phone number as they do in sheffield for none emergencys. had i known they were smashing up the bus shelter i'd have been on the phone without hesitation, but i always feel like i'm wasting there time to ring up with something so trivial as noise!! but i'll know better next time.

I ring the police everytime i see anything of concern tbh. Sometimes its inevitable it's the wrong call.
We had someone sneaking around the stables last weekend so we reported it, we then saw the car in the village throughout the night and kept updating the police. They returned our call ' @11.45 saying thanks , they knew who the driver was and as it was low level would interview them at home as soon as was possibe.
My wife works for the force, their biggest complaint about Joe Public - we never tell them anything.

There is a non-emergency number for Derbyshire police, its an 0845 no.
Will try to find it out and post it on here.
